Description
Manhole guard systems are used when an exposed entry point needs to be guarded. This portable system made of aluminium has an integrated mast which is used in conjunction with a davit arm to provide fall protection, entry and retrieval capabilities. The manhole guard system facilitates access to underground chambers or any other type of confined spaces where an entry point should be protected. Adjustable arm reach 381-610mm and lifting height 1993-2413 mm. Maximum load 1 person 164kg in the winch system + 1 person max 164kg in the separate anchor point on the davit arm. The foldable guardrail measures: LxWxH 922 x 947 x 1133 mm.
Complement with any of our fall arrest blocks with built-in rescue winch, do not forget the winch bracket. It is an optimal solution where you climb up / down yourself and need fall protection and rescue in one and the same solution. If you need to lift / lower someone hanging in a harness or bosuns chair, you must supplement the fall arrest block with a man riding winch. The winch itself on the fall arrest blocks is only for rescue in an emergency, and not intended for lifting a person for work purposes.
