Rope Access

This course is designed for those who have specific trade skills but wish to use rope access as a method of gaining access to various structures. The practical content of this course includes the basic principles of movement on ropes – ascent, descent, changing from ascent to descent, changing from rope to rope, passing a deviation, use of a back-up system – elementary rigging and rope management, and different types of rescue.

Target Group
Workers who need to access all types of structures using rope access techniques. This course is suitable for newcomers to rope access work, no previous rope access qualifications are required. You must be comfortable with exposure to heights.
